Women in Film & Television-Florida (WIFT-FL) and the Metro Orlando Film & Entertainment Commission (MOFEC) cordially invite you to the first annual Business of Entertainment Symposium, an informational and networking event where producers can stay informed on the latest trends affecting the business behind entertainment and stay connected with the key people who make the business happen.

Kicking off the symposium is an expert panel discussion about the impact of Florida’s new tax incentive legislation recently passed by the Senate which includes $242 million dollars in transferrable tax credits for the film & digital media industries; what it means to the state’s economy, to the future of Florida’s production industry, and the production companies applying for tax credits.   Following the panel discussion are breakout sessions on topics you’ll want to learn more about including tax incentives, budgeting and actualization, payroll management and wage & hour issues.
